Moisture caught before it becomes free water
Measures DISSOLVED moisture in oil via water activity (aw), capturing relative saturation before free water forms. Ideal for early moisture detection in insulating and turbine oils. (Unlike the Moisture Content Sensor, which measures total/free water in %.)

How it works
Measurement principle
Probe that captures in real time the changes in the electrical properties of the oil-water mixture, with temperature-probe compensation and algorithms, measuring dissolved water (water activity).

How is it different from the Moisture Content Sensor?
This sensor measures dissolved water, via water activity (aw), before free water forms. The Moisture Content Sensor measures total water, free and emulsified, as a percentage.
Can the moisture range be extended?
Yes. The 100–2000 ppm range can be customized to the application.
Which oils is it suited for?
Early moisture detection in insulating and turbine oils, plus hydraulic systems and gearboxes.
